St. Patrick’s Day is next week, is your irish heart ready?

From the parades down to the food and all things green, it sure is gonna be a great day! That being said, there’s definitely no reason for our fur babies to miss out on this international festival!

Just by wearing green they are already part of the celebration. Now isn’t that easy?

There are lots more that you can do that your pets will surely enjoy, one of the things we will dish out on is a nice and easy recipe from The Canine Chef Cookbook.

Beer is big on St. Patty’s day, and while your pet can’t have that, they can definitely have some Bark Beer!

Yields: 1 cup
Prep Time: 24 hours
Cook Time: None
Nutrition facts: 11 calories, 5 from fat

Ingredients

1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons frozen spinach, chopped
Instructions:

Pour the chicken stock into a pint size mason jar.
Chop up the spinach and add to the jar. The finer you chop it, the  more green color. Let sit in the refrigerator for roughly twenty four  hours, shaking it now and then.
Strain the spinach and pour into a drinking bottle.
This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week and frozen for up to three months.
